Trip Report:
This peak is a simple 20 minute hike in the Laguna Mountains of San Diego county. This mountain would never be visited if it was not on the SDC and HPS list. Although the hike was short the views from the top were great.
We began hiking along the PCT which wound around the side of the mountain. Eventually we decided to bushwack up to the summit. The views from the top were great in all directions. We could see the Anza Borrego desert in the east and Cuyamaca Peak to the west. We could also see a layer of clouds rapidly approaching us from the west. Here are some photos from the hike:
